Fishing competition for ages 15 and under at Woody Lake featuring DGIF youth only stocked trout.
Calling all kids ages 15 and under. Back again by popular demand is the DGIF youth only stocked trout pond and fishing competition at the Recreation Park. Pack a lunch, grab your tackle box and fishing rod and see if you can win the trophy for the largest or smallest fish of the day. Ages 16 and older cannot assist with catching a fish, setting the hook and/or retrieving the fish, per DGIF regulations. Youth-only stocked trout program runs April 1st to June 1st. We’ll see you at the Lake!
